We have achieved great results in 2018 and want to thank our partners, customers and suppliers for this! In addition, I am very proud of our team that is always ready and complementary. We celebrated this yesterday during a nice Christmas dinner in Valkenburg at Lacasa. Unfortunately, two colleagues could not be there because of sickness, but we will get it in next year. Happy holidays to all and a good and healthy 2019!

Typically, the new products in the promotional products industry are presented at the PSI trade fair in Düsseldorf. And even if our products are not so haptic, we are still happy to present our advanced software solutions to you. From the 8th-10th January 2019 we will inform you about our “bestseller”- the Promotional Webshop, our “classic” – the ERP system Promotional Office and our “novelty” – the Web2Print business model. After that, there will be a week at the desk to process all trade fair enquiries, send out offers and schedule consultation appointments before our Dutch colleagues start again for the Specialists Roadshow. The Specialists is a coalition of 14 leading Dutch advertising artists who join forces and create a roadshow together. A premiere in 2019: The roadshow will become a boat show – the exhibition stands will be built on a boat that will anchor in Arnhem, Utrecht, Rotterdam and Antwerpen from 22-24th and 29-30th January. The advantages are obvious: Free admission, a delicious lunch, delicious drinks, good conversations in a relaxed atmosphere and many nice Dutch people!

On November 1st Promidata GmbH, specializing in promotional software, receives an increase in internal service by Pim Kroon. The existing sales team is expected to spend even more time in the field with customer visits and product presentations. In the year 2018 alone, 89 new customer projects were added and key account manager Frank Hansen expects the demand for promotional product shops, ERP systems and Web2Print solutions to continue to increase in 2019.
Kroon studied commercial management in Sittard and then gained first professional experience in the IT sector. With German and Dutch, he masters the two most important languages in order to handle all customer projects in-house. Despite increasing customer numbers, he is responsible for providing high-quality customer service.
Who would not like an individualized product from his favorite club at home? Nutella, Coca-Cola and many others are turning their consumers into designers – why should that not be possible for football fans? We now support this trend with the personalization software Custom Gateway. The first projects have already been implemented and can be admired: Ajax Amsterdam and Borussia Dortmund. Some more are under development and will go live later this year, among others the Belgian first division clubs FC Brugge and RSC Anderlecht. We look forward to your ideas and projects – and one thing is certain – we can do more than just football …

At the beginning of september, the German-dutch software company Promidata was able to welcome two new young employees: Noah Pelzer and Jordy Kleijkers both started the final phase of their IT training. As part of the last academic year, they will both go through a six-month internship within Promidata.
Noah is very familiar with HTML, CSS, Magento and PHP and will therefore, in the first place, support our webshop developers in all upcoming Projects. Managing Director Roy Kemmerling: “this is urgently needed, because the demand for promotional webshops is currently growing very fast. Thanks to the efforts of Noah, we can continue to quickly deliver the webshops and quickly process the product data in the many webshops. “
Jordy is on the other side of the spectrum within the Software Engineering training. He will be setting up and guiding a completely new software project at Promidata. The software will get its application within the promotional industry. Details about this new software project cannot yet be made public.

The most important pure B2B promotional trade fair of Germany
Around 130 exhibitors are presenting their products on the trend, including numerous bestsellers and novelties. The fair is accordingly attractive for the multitude of advertising item consultants, be it old bunnies or newbies to the business. Around 1,000 trade visitors are expected to trend 2018. Because industrial customers are not allowed access, the trend is known as the most important pure B2B promotional trade fair in Germany.
Already on 13. September the GWW welcomes the trend visitors to a lecture program. In the subsequent evening get-together it is necessary to expand its professional network. The personal contact on site creates trust and clarity about the company and the product. The trend fair itself opens on the following day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The exhibitors will then present their latest ideas for the business year 2019 on stand areas of 7.5, 15 and 30 square meters.
Venue 2018 is the newly opened RheinMain CongressCenter in Wiesbaden. The location is centrally located in the city centre of Wiesbaden opposite the main train station and not far from Frankfurt International Airport. The CongressCenter has 800 parking spaces in the in-house underground car park.
The direct motorway connection as well as the turnstile of the Deutsche Bahn promise easy access to the promotional goods fair. Also in the year 2018, the trend is a must for every promotional supplier and promotional consultant and definitely worth a visit.

The supplier days is the annual event for everyone who works in the promotional products industry. During these two days, 150 suppliers and manufacturers from 12 countries present their latest offerings. At the end of the first trading day there is the party Night of the PromZ. On this festive evening the awards will also be awarded for the best suppliers of the year.
